Managed Consent Order Service

A Consent order (sometimes known as a clean break order) is the only way divorced parties can ensure that any agreement reached by the parties is enforceable in law and that no further claims can be made against  the other after the divorce has been made absolute.

Why would I need one?

The divorce itself only deal with the dissolution of the marriage and not your finances. In order to make sure that neither of you can come back to the court , it is best to put the terms of your agreement into a binding court order which dismisses any future claims.

 Requirements

    * The order has to be agreed and signed by both parties.
    * You must be open and honest about your income and assets to each other
    * You will not need to complete Form E with a consent order ( disclosure document)
    * You only need to complete a basic assets, income and pension value form
    

What happens when you file a consent order?

    * Once the order is filed it will be placed before a Judge
    * Once the order is approved, both parties receive a copy of the order, dated and signed by the Judge.
    * A high street solicitor will charge at least  £1000.00 for this service.
