Does the £1,049 fee cover both me and my partner?
The fixed fee of £1,049 covers you and your soon-to-be husband or wife and includes drafting within 7 business days. There is no need for separate legal representation, saving you thousands in legal fees.
Unlike traditional family law solicitors, we charge an affordable fixed fee for the drafting of the Prenup and professional legal advice for one party.
Local solicitors often charge you separately for the drafting of the Prenup and legal advice, taking your legal bill to £3,000 – £5,000.
Once the prenup is drafted, what happens?
Many people assume that once the Prenup has been drafted, they need to send it somewhere to become legal.
Once a prenuptial agreement (prenup) has been drafted and signed by both parties, it doesn’t need to be sent to any government agency or court to be effective.
Both parties should store the legal document somewhere safe and secure. Our solicitors also safely store a copy of your Prenup for you.
We both need to seek legal advice before signing, but can we both use you?
Once the prenup has been drafted and reviewed, you as our client will receive legal advice to ensure you’ve understood the agreement before signing.
Due to a conflict of interest, our solicitors can only offer legal advice to one party, however, we have teamed up with another law firm to offer the other party a fixed fee service for £399 plus VAT.
This will ensure your Prenup is legally enforceable and make it simple for the other party to get legal advice. It’s also a fixed-fee, which many solicitors do not offer.

Our Fixed-Fee Prenuptial Agreement Service for couples with assets under £3m is £849. This service includes faster drafting of your Prenup and costs £1,049 (covers both parties).
Most high-street solicitors in the UK typically charge £2,500 – £5,000+ to draft a Prenup, with more complex cases and those with high-value assets, costing even more. Please do your research.

Why Get a Prenuptial Agreement Before Marriage?
If you own your own home, and have a good pension or other assets, and your soon-to-be spouse does not, then you are going to be at risk should your marriage break down.
As unromantic as that sounds, a prenuptial agreement will mean you can enter into married life without the worry of what happens to the assets you have accrued if you end up getting a divorce.
As with any agreement they will need to be periodically reviewed and updated to reflect the changes in circumstances, such as buying a new home or having children.
We would recommend the agreement be looked at and updated every 5 years, this then becomes a post-nuptial agreement, which is also looked upon favourably by the courts.
As with all agreements, there needs to be open and honest disclosure, and the agreement will list the income and assets of both parties at the time the pre-nuptial agreement is signed.
Independent legal Advice
All signatories to a pre-nuptial agreement have to obtain independent legal advice to make the agreement enforceable. We can arrange for your fiancee to get their own legal advice for £399+vat or they can choose their own solicitor.
